Why do I sometimes receive a call that requires I press 1 to verify I am not an answering service? How can I prevent this?
This happens when you have your account configured to forward calls to your cellphone. If you have a smartphone, it is recommended that you use the Dialpad app instead of forwarding calls to your cellphone. But if you would like to keep the forwarding in place, you can disable it by logging into your
Dialpad account, click
Your Devices to expand that section, click
Advanced Settings on the far right, and uncheck the box to
