Our school acquired several iPads from somewhere other than DeSales Media. Is it possible for us to add them to Workspace ONE so they can be managed with our existing iPads?

Unfortunately, no. Our licenses for Workspace ONE are paid for with a grant and we cannot "mix" non-grant licenses into our account.

Here are a few options for managing your other iPads:

• You could create an Apple ID and use it to log into up to ten iPads. Then you can go to https://icloud.com, login with that Apple ID, download an app, and it will be deployed to all of the iPads which are logged in with that account. The downside is that if you have 50 iPads, you will need five different Apple IDs. Also, you would not be able to prevent a user from installing their own apps on each of the iPads.
• You could use another Mobile Device Manager (MDM) tool. Some schools use JAMF which requires a paid license which starts at $2 per device per month.
